Are AI influencers real?
Short answer
AI influencers are real accounts, but the people in them don't exist. Their faces, photos and videos are generated by AI, and some earn brand deals.
What to know
- Every photo looks perfect and there are no candid moments.
- They rarely appear live or with real, tagged friends.
- Portal bans AI avatars and virtual influencers entirely.
