For schools and educators
Portal is a Boerne-built social app founded on one idea: students deserve a feed where everything is real. We work with schools two ways — free classroom talks, and school spirit competitions your students may already be part of.
Free classroom talks
No product pitch — we promise, and you can preview everything.
“Real or AI?”
An interactive session on deepfakes and AI content: students vote on real-vs-generated clips, then learn the tells.
“I built an app from Boerne”
What a startup actually looks like solo: idea → App Store, the failures included.
“Content creation as a career skill”
How filming, editing and distribution actually work in 2026.
About the school competitions
Portal runs opt-in, app-based spirit competitions between schools (per-student scoring, so every school can win). They’re organized by Portal, not by schools, and we’re glad to answer any administrator’s questions about how they work and how students are protected: see our parents page, or email us.
Game-day sponsorships
We sponsor local athletics through booster clubs — if your program sells banner, program or table sponsorships, we’d like to hear from you.
We’re local, we’re reachable, and we’d rather over-answer your questions than leave one open. support@portalapp.org.
