The first social network you can trust.
Portal is a camera-only social app: every photo and video is filmed live inside the app and tagged to the place it was taken. No uploads, no filters from a camera roll, no AI, no bots — just real people showing you what’s actually happening in Tampa right now. Posts expire after 48 hours, so the feed is always what’s happening now, and everyone competes on school, city, state and national leaderboards.
- 100% camera-only — nothing can be uploaded or faked
- School vs school — every post counts for your high school or college
- Students-only side that only verified students can see
- Leaderboards just launched, so top spots are wide open

Why Tampa needs a real feed
Every guide to Tampa shows you the same stock photos. What they can’t show you is which spots in Tampa are actually worth leaving the house for right now.
That’s the gap Portal fills. Because every post is captured live in the app and pinned to a real location, the Tampa portal is a running, honest answer to “what’s it like there right now?” — from Ybor City to The Riverwalk to SoHo.
And because Portal just launched, Tampa’s leaderboard is genuinely open: the people posting from Florida today are the ones who’ll own the top spots when everyone else shows up.
