What is an algorithmic feed?
Definition
An algorithmic feed ranks posts by what the app predicts will keep you engaged, rather than by time or who you follow.
It's why feeds fill with viral and AI content. A chronological feed shows the newest posts first.
Portal is a free iPhone social app where every photo and video must be captured live in the app, with no uploads and no AI content allowed. See how Portal works.
