Bandera, the board is open.
Portal is the camera-only app where everything is filmed live — no uploads, no filters, no AI. Every post you make counts for Bandera on the school leaderboard, and verified students unlock a side of Portal only students can see. Royal blue and white on Fridays.
Bulldogs from the Cowboy Capital of the World.
Who should Bandera take on?
Clashes go school by school, starting with Boerne vs Champion. Our guess for the first matchup: Bandera vs Boerne. Get your friends on the board and email support@portalapp.org with the matchup you want.
Students only means students only.
- Verify Bandera in the app to unlock student-only posts and the school board
- Only verified students can see student-only posts — adults aren’t in that feed, by design
- Your school is never shown publicly — posts show only the city
- Adults can’t DM students. Anything sketchy gets reported in two taps

Bandera FAQ
Is Portal at Bandera High School?
Yes. Any Bandera student who is 13 or older can download Portal free on iPhone and verify their school in the app to unlock the students-only side and the Bandera leaderboard.
Who can see student-only posts?
Only verified students can see student-only posts. Portal is designed so adults aren’t in students’ feeds, and adults can’t DM students.
Does Portal show my school or location?
Your school is never shown publicly on posts. Posts show only the city they were filmed in — never an address, never live tracking.
How does Bandera score in a School Clash?
Every real post by a verified student counts, scored per student, so school size doesn’t decide it. Streaks and 1v1 challenges count too.
Is Portal affiliated with Bandera High School or Bandera ISD?
No. Portal is run by Portal Tech, Inc. and isn’t sponsored by or affiliated with Bandera High School or Bandera ISD.
Can middle schoolers use Portal?
Portal is rated 13+. If you’re in middle school and 13 or older, you can join. If you’re under 13, you can’t use Portal yet.
Be one of Bandera’s first on the board.
